06.22.07: Yep folks I have a new tune I wrote and produced (w/the help of URO leader Sal Clemente) posted called: "Barrel House Gutbucket Chickin' Pickin'". You can listen on the Myspace page right here.
It'll come out on my solo release "Guitaring" someday (sighs..)
It was inspired by some of my favorite pickers: Brent Mason, Jerry Reed, Scotty Taylor, Duke Levine, and Kevin Barry...
Personnel:
Mike Castellana (Sarah Borges): Steel
George Cooke (Ultrasonic Rock Orchestra): Bass
Mike Levesque (Bowie, Navarro, Seven Mary Three): Drums
Tony Savarino: Guitars
Tom West (Peter Wolf, Duke Levine): Organ, piano
Recorded, Mixed, Co-Produced by Salvantonio Clemente Written, Arranged and Produced by Tony Savarino
Come on by and take a listen...

02.01.07: Lot's going on.. Sorry it took so long to update... Recording with Martin Bisi was awesome. We got basics down for seven tunes. Martin totally gets The Black Fortress of Opium. He made my guitars sound awesome!!!

I had Keyboard player Tom West play some keys on a tune that i have written. The working title is "Barrel House Boogie Woogie". Not that descriptive cause its a country tune. I am gonna have Mike Castellana put some pedal Steel on it. We'll mix it. It'll eventually appear on my upcoming solo album "Guitaring"

The Worlds Greatest Sinners We'll be Playing this Friday at The Plough in Cambridge Mass. We got a new Keyboard player. My old bud from the Montgomerys and URO Andrew Malone. Nice Sicilian boy..

I'll try to update this more regularly

12.13.06: I have posted new shows and some new pics from the Garvy J. Show in LA and The Black Fortress of Opium at The Plough 'N Stars
